Exhibiting a Mirror luster to the original bakelite finish using the best finishing polish available. No marring,or deep scratching on the cabinet.There are two minor issues on the cabinet from age related use.A very light scratch on the left side hardly noticed, and one missing pin for the rear cover,Thats it! Amazing overall condition of this all american tube radio! The dial and lettering are excellent for this vintage,almost always found with deep scratches in the dial plastic and missing paint , the etching is perfect. .The knobs,and logo are excellent for this vintage! The factory label is on the bottom.The rear cover is excellent and fits solid.This is a 5 tube chassis all American tube line up and the chassis and interior cabinet are very clean. The volume control was cleaned and de-oxidized,The power cord has some age related stiffness and the back are original items and safe for use.The chassis is clean and has one tube that needed to be replaced with n.o.s. due to low test emissions. All other components and resistors are replaced as needed including the filter caps! The i.f. has been aligned using a signal generator for optimum accuracy! All antenna trimmers re aligned to factory specs to bring you a flawless performance! The audio is excellent and very selective for a 6 tuber,this set features a gorgeous front designed "deco" style grill and original knobs. A classic Designed bakelite radio! Here's an interesting little Crosley radio measuring about 11 inches wide by 6 inches tall. Retains decal and paper label from the Crosley Radio Coorporation in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was packed away in a Jamaica Plain home for many years and appears to be in very nice original condition. This is a working radio. The reception is very good in numerous channels. The sound is loud and clear. It takes a nine volt battery (not included). It is gray in color with gold trim. The case has no cracks. The gold trim around the speaker has a few minor scratches. This measures 1-1/4" by 2-1/2" wide by 4-1/4" high. The brown leather case is in good to very good condition and has a few scrapes on the back side and along some of the edges. No ear piece. The battery connections are not corroded. I could not find a model number on it. When you take the back cover off, on one of the electrical components it looks to have the following words "KIKUNA ELEC CO." along with a logo that looks to read "cf7t". Made in Japan.
