. Description Motorola "Torpedo" Modern Plastic Cabinet Model 56H c. Mid-1950s Offered in this auction is this beautiful Motorola radio. Made in mid-1950s, this modern plastic table top radio features a jet age styled dial. This is a modest sized radio measuring only 11.6x6.5x5". The cabinet has a high gloss finish...just gorgeous! The cabinet is free of all cracks, chips and nicks. The is one 1/2" hairline on the bottom rear as pictured, otherwise the cabinet is perfect. This 56H has its factory original knobs . The original back panel is present. The chassis works very well with excellent reception and sound. I will double-box pack this radio using plenty of new packing material.
