Offered today is this Excellent condition Original Standard Clock Radio model unknown from the 50s. This set has been Detailed to its original condition! Exhibiting a luster to the blue Plascon finish using no sealers, coatings ,or lacquer! The cabinet has been hand cleaned in preparation for polishing to bring out the gorgeous factory sheen as seen in the photos.No marring,or deep scratching on the cabinet.The dial lettering is excellent for this vintage,almost always found with paint missing and deep scratches.The well designed slide dial has a smooth movement! The grill work is excellent! Brass emblem and trim is free from tarnish.The knobs,and logo are perfect for this vintage! The rear loop antenna is in great shape.All american tube line up and the chassis and interior cabinet are clean.This set also features a large side speaker.The filter caps and all wax caps are replaced where needed. Other components are original and show no signs,overheating,or out of tolerance condition.The rest of the resistors and mechanical components have been visually and electrically checked for weakness and are truly original! Of course all tubes checked and tested on a heath tester for emissions and shorts.The audio is excellent and very selective,nice rich tube audio and yes the clock works as designed and keeps perfect time! This radio features a gorgeous front "RETO" design! This rare color radio from our examination was very well kept and not used much at all,,and that is saying something for a 50+ year old set!!
